Tea at the Trianon

Rococo’ revival with “Tea at the Trianon”

“Tea at the Trianon” glazed, textured painting with sculptural elements on a gallery deep edges canvas created in Acrylics and Mixed Media for “The Grandeur of Illusion and Theatricality” Painting collection by Deborah Bowe.

Theatrical painting collection that has been inspired by the design aesthetic of the 18th century French noble society, pre-revolution. The collection features sensual, flamboyant, intriguing and richly adorned aristocrats, they symbolize my revised visions of the life and fashion of the courtesans at the French court and it is my personal homage to French Baroque and Rococo’.
“The Grandeur of Illusion and Theatricality” painting collection brings me back to France, in particular to Paris and Versailles which I have had the pleasure to visit over 25 years ago.

The painting features painted deed edges, dimensional textures and it has been coated with anti UV varnish for longevity and protection.
Signed in the front and signed and dated in the back.
Ready to hang.

Fragments of emotions, moods and feelings transferred onto canvas.
They are not only faces.. I aim to capture the essence of femininity through the centuries and from my personal perspective.
I incorporate relief and dimensional elements in my portraits by experimenting with different mediums.

I wish to convey emotions through my art and I hope that my artwork will transmit feelings of kindness and beauty to the audience, across the space and time because art is what beautifies our world.
