A Look Back….
2010 - NOW
Getting to where I am took me a decade of learning and a whole lot of good, old fashioned Struggle with a capital S.
Here’s how it went down….
2010
A little idea...
A single mom of three growing kids and in my 40’s, I got the idea to start my own online business.
That was the beginning of dark, early mornings sitting at the computer learning everything I could about business.
2011
Smiling Through a Rough Start
My idea was always to help creatives.
But it was just me – no support, no money.
I did everything the hard way (like so many people do)… a million Google searches, reading for hours and more trial and error than I like talking about.
2012
The Dating App
In the midst of everything, after a decade of being single, I decided to add one more thing to my plate. I hopped onto a dating app.
That’s when I met Todd.
Saying yes to an after-work appetizer altered the direction of my life and business forever.
This is where everything shifted (for the best)!
2014
Coding, Marketing & Startups
There was nothing easy about going out on my own except that now I had Todd’s support.
Learning something COMPLETELY different than I’d always done was nothing short of a miracle (for me anyway – the most non-techy person living in California – the tech capital of the world).
2016
The Arts Row Marketplace
With the marketplace up and running, I was traveling around the U.S. writing and working and business started growing.
Helping artists was my GREATEST joy!
But running it alone proved to be harder than I’d ever imagined. I just wasn’t doing enough to help artists and I wasn’t earning enough to hire help either.
A change was needed.
2019
Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi, Russell Brunson and Jenna Kutcher
Looking ahead, I felt lost. I needed to figure out how to grow my business to help more artists.
Then I remembered all the mentors I had listened to over the last decade and suddenly, it all came full circle.
I reached out and ended up working with Tony, Dean and Russell on their business, Mastermind.com.
And I was awarded in Las Vegas at the Mastermind Ceremonies with the Impact Award for my efforts in helping grow their business all while learning to grow my own from some of the smartest people around!
2020
Things are looking up... The New Arts Row
Falling back on my 27 years of teaching was never my intention, but now I’m doing just that and things are looking up.
With my writing and coaching I’ve been able to continue helping artists on Arts Row – still keeping my goal of bringing back the marketplace some day!.
So, cheers to you, my creative friend.
Now, let’s start turning your talent into more profits!

And driving to Silicon Valley every other Saturday for 8 hours just to meet up with and learn from some really smart people doing some really cool stuff.
Those were some good times!
